BACKGROUND AND PORTFOLIO

As a computer scientist with a major in Business Informatics I was always interested in the 'What' and 'Why' as much as in the Technologies behind it.  First in developer and IT Architect, later in strategy consultant and senior manager roles I have worked for Startups, small and large enterprises, and briefly the government. I have worked in many different industries:  Mobility, Transport, Logistics, Automotive, Telecommunications, Energy, and Public Sector. I was lucky to work internationally all over Europe, the US, in China, India, New Zealand, and Australia.

 

Constantly pushing the technical frontier, I gained deep knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies like Mobile Internet, Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), Intelligent Transportation Solutions (ITS), Smart Cities, and Autonomous Driving. All my projects and leadership roles are related to innovation, digital transformation, and development of digital products.

With my knowledge and experience my aim is to make an impact in how digital technologies are used for creating a better world. My focus is on four closely related portfolio elements:
