MY JOURNEY INTO THE DIGITAL ERA

At the age of 16, I was confronted with a computer at the tourist information office kiosk in Avignon. No one knew how to use a computer and I also failed miserably because the system was a far cry from being intuitive. Returning home with the curiosity to learn programming, I bought my first personal computer, learned to develop software, and found my calling in life: Making Digital Technologies accessible for Everyone!

I studied Business Informatics / Wirtschaftsinformatik (computer science) at Furtwangen University as I was most interested in the intersection of information technology with business administration

I have worked for Startups, small and large enterprises, and briefly the government in senior management, strategy consulting and IT Architect roles. Throughout my career I have worked in many different industries:  Mobility, Transport, Logistics, Automotive, Energy, Telecommunications, and Public Sector. I was lucky to work internationally all over Europe, the US, China, India, Australia, and New Zealand.

Constantly pushing the technical frontier, I gained deep knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies like Mobile Internet, Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), Intelligent Transportation Solutions (ITS), Smart Cities, and Autonomous Driving. All my projects and leadership roles are related to Innovation, Digital Transformation, and development of Digital Products.
